Official fee sources

Rates were verified against Etsy Help on August 20, 2026. Etsy lists a $0.20 USD listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee, country-specific payment processing, and Offsite Ads rates of 15% or 12%. Mexico payment processing is currently 4.5% + 8 MXN; US processing is 3% + $0.25 USD. Mexico withholding depends on RFC status and buyer location.

Does the calculator give tax advice?

No. It provides planning estimates based on the settings you choose. Tax liability depends on your circumstances and jurisdiction.

Why is the Etsy listing fee converted for Mexico?

Etsy publishes fixed listing fees in USD and converts them to your payment-account currency at the market rate when the fee is reflected. The calculator lets you update the USD-to-MXN rate.
