ABOUT / METHOD
A working toolkit for people who prepare and sell printable wall art.
Wall Art Toolkit brings file preparation, print math, listing presentation, pricing and seasonal planning into one focused workspace. The goal is practical: reduce repetitive seller work and make important decisions easier to check.
Editorial and product standards · updated August 2026
01 / PURPOSE
Built around real wall art workflows
The tools are organized around the jobs a printable-art seller repeatedly performs: checking resolution, matching ratios, laying prints on paper, building mockups, calculating a sustainable price and planning seasonal products early enough to sell them.
02 / CALCULATIONS
Calculators explain the math, not just the answer
Where a tool uses a formula, the page explains the inputs and assumptions so the result can be interpreted and checked. Print-size tools separate pixels, physical dimensions and PPI; pricing tools separate customer-paid shipping, seller costs, marketplace fees and profit instead of collapsing them into one number.
03 / EDITORIAL GUIDANCE
Recommendations are labeled as recommendations
Some topics do not have one official answer. Seasonal planning windows, category fit and seller workflow suggestions are editorial guidance. When dates or fees depend on an external marketplace, the relevant guide explains the scope and avoids presenting estimates as official platform rules.
EDITORIAL STANDARD
How a page earns a place in the toolkit
We do not publish a guide only because a keyword exists. A page should answer a specific seller decision, show the assumptions behind the answer, and connect to a calculator when arithmetic is more reliable than prose. Technical claims are written so the underlying dimensions or formulas can be checked.
When a recommendation is editorial rather than live marketplace data—such as a seasonal lead-time window or category-fit rating—we label it as guidance instead of presenting it as an Etsy rule or measured sales fact.
What we verify before publishing technical guidance
Math and units
Pixel, PPI, physical-size and ratio relationships are checked against the formulas used by the tools.
Scope
Marketplace-specific statements are separated from general print-preparation advice.
Limitations
Printer margins, provider requirements, seasonal variability and other real-world constraints are stated where they affect the result.
