EDITORIAL POLICY

Editorial Policy

How we decide what to publish, what we verify, and how we distinguish calculations from editorial recommendations.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Purpose

Wall Art Toolkit publishes calculators and practical educational content for printable wall art creators and online sellers. Our editorial goal is to answer a real user question clearly, accurately and with enough context to act on the answer.

Research and sources

We prefer primary or authoritative documentation for technical or platform-specific claims whenever it is available. Search-demand research may help us discover questions people actually ask, but a keyword alone is not a reason to publish a page. Content must solve a useful task.

Calculations and recommendations

Calculations should be reproducible. Where practical, we show the formula, units, assumptions and limitations. Recommendations are labeled as recommendations rather than presented as universal rules. For example, 300 PPI is a strong reference point for many prints, but lower effective PPI can still be appropriate depending on print size, viewing distance and intended use.

Review, dates and corrections

We use real review or update dates when content has actually been reviewed. Before publishing technical guidance, we check the math, units, examples, scope and known limitations. If we find a meaningful error, we correct it. Readers can report issues at contact@wallarttoolkit.com.

Independence

Wall Art Toolkit is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with Etsy. Marketplace names and third-party products may be referenced descriptively when they are relevant to a seller workflow.
