What does a 4:5 ratio mean?
A 4:5 ratio compares the short side with the long side. If the short side is 4 inches, the matching long side is 5 inches. If the short side is 16 inches, the matching long side is 20 inches. The physical size changes, but the rectangular shape stays the same.
For landscape artwork, the same family is written 5:4. A 10×8 landscape print and an 8×10 portrait print have the same proportions with the orientation reversed.
Is 8×10 a 4:5 ratio?

How many pixels are needed for a 4:5 print?
